Dr. Stephen Craft is Chair of the Department of Security Studies & International Affairs at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. A historian of U.S. foreign policy and U.S.–Asia relations, he earned his Ph.D. in history from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has conducted extensive research in Taiwan, where he also taught at Tunghai and Wen-Tsao Universities, and previously taught at Valparaiso University. His scholarship focuses on international and diplomatic history, with a particular emphasis on East Asia.
