Dr. José de Arimatéia da Cruz is a Professor of International Relations and Comparative Politics at Georgia Southern University in Savannah, Georgia. He also serves as a Visiting Professor in the Department of International and Diplomatic Studies within the Faculty of International Relations at the Prague University of Economics and Business. Dr. da Cruz is a Research Fellow in the Brazil Research Unit at the Council on Hemispheric Affairs in Washington, D.C. In addition to his academic work, he is President of the Savannah Council on World Affairs and a member of the National Board of Directors for the World Affairs Councils of America (WACA). He previously served as an Intermittent Professor of Administration (IPA) and Adjunct Research Professor at the U.S. Army War College.
