Dr. James Horncastle is an Assistant Professor of Global Humanities at Simon Fraser University, specializing in international relations, irregular warfare, and modern European and Southeast European history. His research examines the Macedonian Question during the Greek Civil War and the social, political, and military dimensions of Yugoslavia’s collapse in the 1990s. He holds a Ph.D. in History from Simon Fraser University, an M.A. from the University of New Brunswick, and a B.A. from St. Thomas University.
